How to Make Delicious Carrot and Walnut Cake with or Without an Oven for Party Meals

Ingredients for Carrot and Walnut Cake
Carrots: 2 medium
Eggs: 4
Flour: 1 and ¾ cups
Baking powder: 1.5 teaspoons
Vanilla: ¼ teaspoon
Sugar: 1 cup
Walnuts: ½ cup
Cinnamon: 1 teaspoon
Oil: ¾ cup
Salt: ⅛ teaspoon

Carrot Cake Preparation
Step 1:
To prepare the carrot cake, first peel and clean the carrots, wash them, and finely grate them. Set aside. Crack the eggs one by one into a bowl, and if they are intact, add them to a mixing bowl, then add vanilla and sugar.

Step 2:
Mix the ingredients with an electric mixer at medium speed for 5 minutes until the mixture becomes elastic and turns cream-colored. Add the oil and mix for 1 more minute.

Step 3:
Add the baking powder and cinnamon to the flour, stir with a spoon to mix, and sift the mixture. Gradually add this flour mixture to the wet ingredients and stir just enough to combine.

Step 4:
Finely chop the carrots and walnuts, and add them to the mixture. Use a spatula to gently fold the ingredients together by scooping from the bottom of the bowl and bringing them to the top (this technique is different from stirring, so be sure to do it this way).

Step 5:
Once the batter is smooth, stop mixing because the texture should remain airy, and excessive mixing will deflate it. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F) for 15 minutes and prepare your baking pan.

Step 6:
Line the bottom of the baking pan with parchment paper, pour in the batter, and place it in the oven. Bake for 35-45 minutes. After 30 minutes, test the cake by inserting a toothpick; if the batter sticks, it needs more time. If it comes out clean, the cake is ready.

Step 7:
If necessary, set the oven to the grill setting for 1-2 minutes to make the top golden, but be careful not to burn it. Once done, remove the cake from the oven, allow it to cool, and take it out of the pan. Decorate the cake and enjoy!

Making Carrot Cake in a Pot
Step 1:
To make the carrot cake in a pot, first line the bottom of the pot with parchment paper. Then, grease the paper and the pot walls with a little oil. Carefully pour the batter into the pot and tap the pot a few times on the counter to remove air bubbles.

Step 2:
Once the air bubbles are gone, cover the pot with a clean kitchen towel, then place the pot lid on top, securing it so that no air escapes and the cake rises well.

Step 3:
Set the gas to a very low heat and place the pot on a heat diffuser. Let the cake bake for 45 minutes to an hour.
