SAEDNEWS: In an exclusive interview, political analyst Habibollah Torkashvand hails the recent 12‑day conflict with Israel and the United States as the crowning achievement of Ayatollah Khamenei’s decades‑long stewardship of Iran’s armed forces.

How a 12‑Day Strike Against Israel Became the Apex of Khamenei’s 36‑Year Command

According to Saed News, Habibollah Torkashvand, a seasoned international affairs analyst, offered a detailed appraisal of Iran’s swift and decisive response to what he calls a decade in the making by Israeli commanders. He revealed that Israel had spent ten years planning its June 13 (23 Khordad) operation and had stockpiled logistics for eight months. Under the cover of indirect talks with the United States, Israeli forces launched complex assassinations of Iran’s top field commanders before dawn.

Torkashvand emphasizes that Iran’s uniquely resilient military structure—comprising the General Staff, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and the regular army under the Supreme Leader—enabled a retaliatory strike within 12 hours. He describes how precision‑guided Iranian missiles breached Israel’s vaunted three‑layer air defenses, striking critical centers in Tel Aviv and Haifa and stunning global observers.

He attributes Iran’s success to four key factors: the unmatched faith and dedication of its troops; a homegrown command framework with pre‑designated successors; rigorous operational doctrine; and, above all, Ayatollah Khamenei’s timely appointments of new commanders on day one. By day six, he says, Iran had neutralized Israel’s AI‑driven assassination apparatus housed within a Microsoft facility, ending further targeted killings. Strategic sites—from the Weizmann Institute to drone‑manufacturing and radar complexes—were systematically degraded, forcing Israel to seek U.S.‑brokered ceasefire talks via Qatar.

Torkashvand argues that these events crown the pinnacle of Khamenei’s 36‑year leadership. He recalls the Supreme Leader’s symbolic public appearance on the night of Ashura—despite rumors of his hiding—which became a global headline, reinforcing Iran’s image as a rising military power. He further highlights three radio‑televised messages from Khamenei during the conflict, each undercutting Western narratives and demonstrating the power of resolute leadership in crisis.
