SAEDNEWS: In a phone conversation on Sunday night, the top diplomats of the United States and Saudi Arabia discussed the recent international developments.
According to SAEDNEWS, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, currently in occupied Palestine, engaged in a telephone conversation with Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan to address ongoing efforts to terminate the Gaza war.
A statement released by the US Department of State highlighted Blinken's acknowledgment of Saudi Arabia's vital role in facilitating humanitarian aid to Gaza. “Blinken hailed the role of Saudi Arabia in facilitating the arrival of humanitarian aid to Gaza,” the statement noted.
The dialogue between the two top diplomats also covered crucial topics aimed at preventing further escalation of tensions in the region. They focused on finalizing a peace agreement between the Israeli regime and Hamas, which remains a critical issue in the ongoing conflict.
Additionally, Arab sources indicated that the discussion extended to the complex situations in Yemen and Sudan, highlighting the regional scope of their diplomatic engagement.
