SAEDNEWS: The General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces warned that any hostile act against the country will be met with a far harsher, more crushing, and more damaging response, pledging that the military forces will not allow any threat to Iran’s security or its people.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces issued a warning in a Monday statement marking the 16th anniversary of the 2009 nationwide pro-establishment rallies on 9 Dey in the Persian calendar, corresponding to December 30.
In its statement, the General Staff commemorated the country’s distinguished martyrs and honored veterans, describing 9 Dey as a historic event reflecting the will of the vigilant Iranian nation.
It emphasized that the people, by recognizing the plots of adversaries, demonstrated both insight and loyalty to national principles, defending revolutionary and religious values while exposing complex and dangerous conspiracies.
The General Staff reassured the Iranian nation that the Armed Forces, fully prepared and empowered, would prevent any harm to the country or threats to public security.
It also warned that any future miscalculations by enemies, at any time or place, would be met with responses far stronger, more decisive, and more damaging than before.
