David and Katie Valiant, passionate enthusiasts of the aviation industry, have taken their love for flying to new heights—literally. David, from Australia, and Katie, from New Zealand, decided to tie the knot aboard a plane flying from Sydney to Auckland, choosing the exact midpoint between the two cities as the location for their wedding.
Their unique ceremony has also become a symbol of unity between their countries, reflecting their shared passion for air travel. The couple first met in a long-running online game called Airport City, which quickly became one of their favorite pastimes before they met in person.
