Apple Watch Series 10: Larger Display and Thinner Body!

According to SAEDNEWS, Apple seems to have planned significant changes for the Apple Watch 2024. According to a new report from Bloomberg, the Apple Watch Series 10 will have a larger display, a thinner design, and faster performance. However, Apple appears to have encountered difficulties in delivering new health features.

It is expected that both models of the Apple Watch Series 10, with the codes N217 and N218, will have a larger display this year. In fact, Mark Gurman states that the display size of these two models will be nearly as large as the display of the Apple Watch Ultra.

Increase in the Apple Watch Series 10 Display Size Gurman’s latest report matches the schematic designs that were leaked last week for this watch. These designs show that the larger version of the Apple Watch Series 10 will feature a 2-inch display, slightly larger than the 1.93-inch display of the Apple Watch Ultra. Gurman also mentions that the Apple Watch Series 10 will be thinner, although its design is unlikely to differ much.

Both the Apple Watch Series 10 and the Apple Watch Ultra 3 are likely to have more powerful processors. While this could pave the way for some AI-powered features in the future, Gurman says that Apple currently has no plans to introduce Apple Intelligence features on these smartwatches.

Regarding new health monitoring capabilities, previous reports indicated that the Apple Watch Series 10 would add blood pressure monitoring and sleep apnea features. However, according to the latest Bloomberg report, although Apple made progress in these features last year, it is now “facing serious issues.”

It seems that the blood pressure technology for the Apple Watch has not been reliable during testing as expected. As a result, these issues might force Apple to delay its release. On the other hand, the sleep apnea detection feature of the Apple Watch is linked to blood oxygen saturation data. Currently, Apple Watch models sold in the United States do not offer blood oxygen monitoring due to a ban from the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC).
