SAEDNEWS: Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman says Washington continues to assume that nations lack memory and critical thinking, portraying the world as a “Pluribus” hive where individual minds switch off, attention remains fixed on Washington’s words, and its narrative is accepted without question.
According to Saednews, Washington appears to assume that nations have neither a memory nor the ability to think critically, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baqaei said in a post on his X account on Friday.
He compared Washington’s approach to Pluribus, the 2025 American post-apocalyptic science-fiction television series, describing it as a world where people are expected to switch off their minds, focus on Washington’s words, and accept its narrative without question.
“On one side stands a brutal economic war, deliberately designed to inflict maximum pain and suffering on every Iranian citizen. On the other stands the theatrical announcement of measures to stop Iranian officials from supposedly shopping at an American wholesale club,” Baqaei wrote.
“They look past the sanctioning of an entire nation’s livelihood, then issue solemn statements about the sanctioning of a store membership card.”
He added that the messaging was so crude and transparent that it revealed, in his view, the mindset behind what he described as an unlawful war against Iran and the circumstances that have left the United States in an embarrassing position today.
Baqaei’s remarks referenced Pluribus, a 2025 American post-apocalyptic science-fiction television series.
