SAEDNEWS: The IRGC attacked U.S. guided-missile destroyers DDG-119 and DDG-53 with powerful ballistic missiles in retaliation for U.S. harassment of Iranian oil tankers and vessels.
According to Saednews, The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said in a statement that two destroyers equipped with cruise missiles and the Aegis combat system were targeted in a punitive operation codenamed “Ya Haidar Karrar.”
According to the statement, the attack caused significant damage to both warships.
The IRGC added that Iranian armed forces remain determined to respond to what it described as desperate actions by the American regime. It also warned the enemy against making any miscalculations.
