SAEDNEWS: Iranian Forces Unveil and Deploy New Air Defense Systems During Recent Conflicts
According to Saednews, Speaking during Friday prayers in Tehran, Brigadier General Alireza Elhami, commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya Joint Air Defense Base and the Islamic Republic of Iran Army Air Defense Force, said Iran’s defense sector had relied entirely on domestic capabilities to strengthen the country’s air combat preparedness.
Elhami stated that Iranian forces developed and manufactured air defense systems during the conflict, rapidly deployed them to operational areas, and used them to successfully intercept and destroy hostile aircraft. He emphasized that even advanced enemy technology could not ensure protection against Iran’s air defense network.
According to Elhami, Iran has achieved full self-sufficiency in producing and supplying its air defense equipment by drawing on the expertise of military scientists, domestic defense industries, universities, and technology companies.
He further described Iran’s national resilience and military strength as being built on three key factors: firm leadership, strong public support, and domestically developed military equipment.
