SAEDNEWS: Commander of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Army, Major General Amir Hatami, says Iran’s strengthened defense capabilities have changed the way its adversaries assess the country and respond to its military power.
According to Saednews, Relying on the strength and determination of its young generation, defending its national dignity and independence, and placing trust in God’s unlimited power will ensure that the nation never surrenders and ultimately achieves victory, Hatami said in a message congratulating Brigadier General Majid Ibn al-Reza, the acting Defense Minister, on the occasion of Defense Industry Day.
The Ministry of Defense has played an important role in recent years in strengthening Iran’s deterrence and expanding its defense capabilities. This has been achieved through the design, production, development, and modernization of a wide range of military equipment and systems tailored to the requirements of the armed forces.
According to Hatami, many of these achievements have demonstrated their effectiveness during actual combat and recent conflicts. They have subsequently emerged as prominent examples of the capabilities and potential of Iran’s domestically developed defense industry.
The latest conflicts also demonstrated the close relationship between the operational capabilities of Iran’s armed forces and the distinctive strengths of its defense sector, which together represent an important component of the country’s national power, the commander said.
He added that these capabilities compelled the opposing side to reassess its approach and ultimately accept a ceasefire and pursue a political settlement.
