SAEDNEWS: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said on Monday that the US "criminal and provocative" actions in the Strait of Hormuz have jeopardized regional peace and security.
According to Saednews, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi urged the international community to hold the United States accountable during a phone conversation with Cypriot Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos.
Araghchi stated that the growing insecurity in the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz is a direct result of recent military actions by the United States and Israel against Iran. He emphasized that these developments have increased regional tensions and raised concerns over stability.
In response, Constantinos Kombos expressed Cyprus' concern about the impact of the ongoing situation on peace and security in West Asia. He stressed the importance of diplomacy and dialogue as the best way to prevent further escalation and promote regional stability.
