SAEDNEWS: The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has announced that a second vessel, which violated regulations in the Strait of Hormuz, had been struck and stopped during a retaliatory military operation.
According to Saednews, The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said in a statement issued early Sunday that the operation was launched in response to what it described as ongoing US strikes against Iranian military coastal positions.
The statement added that, during a second phase of the operation, ballistic missiles were fired at the US Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar. The IRGC claimed the strikes targeted key facilities, including aircraft maintenance and repair areas and command-and-control centers.
The IRGC warned that any further military actions by the United States and Israel against Iran would lead to stronger retaliatory responses.
