SAEDNEWS: Repeated Ceasefire Violations in Southern Lebanon Escalate Crisis Amid Israeli Drone and Artillery Strikes
According to the political service of Saed News, in continuation of the blatant and repeated violations of international agreements, media sources report a new wave of heavy attacks by the Israeli regime on various areas in southern Lebanon. These attacks are taking place while experts believe that Tel Aviv is pursuing objectives beyond border clashes.
Lebanese sources reported that the army of the Israeli regime, in actions considered a formal violation of the ceasefire, targeted areas around the settlement of “Kfartebnit” in southern Lebanon.
Operational details indicate the scope of the ceasefire violations:
Israeli drones targeted the town of “Ansariyeh” in southern Lebanon with missile strikes.
The regime’s artillery units shelled the “Al-Taher” heights and the outskirts of “Upper Nabatieh” in the south.
In response, resistance forces fired 10 missiles toward a gathering of occupying forces near “Kfartebnit” in the district of Nabatieh.
Simultaneously, Israeli media revealed new expansionist plans by the regime’s military. According to reports, the Israeli army is seeking to establish a security buffer zone up to 10 kilometers inside Lebanese territory—an approach that would effectively mean the occupation of new parts of Lebanon and the complete collapse of the ceasefire agreement.
During these clashes, Lebanese sources reported the landing of an Israeli military medical helicopter in the “Qalaat Shqif” area in southern Lebanon, reportedly to evacuate wounded soldiers. This occurred alongside extensive helicopter activity over the region, although Hebrew-language media have not disclosed exact casualty figures.
Analysis of Tel Aviv’s military behavior suggests that the ceasefire violations in Lebanon are directly linked to diplomatic developments between Tehran and Washington, D.C.. In this context, Israel’s Channel 14 reportedly stated that Israel must intensify its attacks on Lebanon in order to derail and undermine the agreement reached between Iran and the United States.
These developments come as internal conditions within the Israeli military appear different. Channel 12 reported a state of confusion, fatigue, and frustration among soldiers stationed on the Lebanon front, with the possibility of an imminent withdrawal order.
The continued ceasefire violations by the Israeli army over the past two days have triggered a strong official response from Iran’s military authorities. The Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters issued a warning to the leadership in Tel Aviv:
“If the criminal army of the Zionist regime does not end its provocations and repeated violations of the ceasefire in southern Lebanon, it must expect a harsh, regret-inducing, and decisive response from the powerful armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.”
