SAEDNEWS: President Masoud Pezeshkian has written a message to heads of state of neighboring and freidnly countries, saying that Iran had not choice but to defend against US-Israeli aggression.
In a message posted on his X account on Wednsday, Pezeshkian wrote, "To the heads of states of neighboring and freidnly countries, we tried diplomacy in cooperation with you to avoid war but the US-Zionist attack left no choice to us but defense."
"We respect your soverignty and still believe in peace in the region achieved through the countries in it," he highlighted.
