SAEDNEWS: Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein has met with Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi at Foreign Ministry in Tehran.
According to SAEDNEWS, Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baqaei had earlier announced Hussein’s visit to Tehran, saying the Iraqi foreign minister would meet Araghchi and several other senior Iranian officials during the trip.
He added that the talks would include an exchange of views on Iran-Iraq bilateral relations as well as regional and international developments.
The visit comes amid ongoing consultations between Tehran and Baghdad on issues of mutual interest.
