SAEDNEWS: Tanker Engine Room Damaged in Reported Strike Near Oman
According to Saednews, A tanker was struck by an unidentified projectile off the coast of Oman on Tuesday, disabling its engine room, according to the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO).
UKMTO said it received a report of an incident approximately nine nautical miles northeast of Oman. The tanker’s captain confirmed that the vessel had been hit by an unknown projectile, resulting in damage to the engine room.
