Saed News: Post-death experiences as narrated by people who died and then came back to life.
According to SAEDNEWS, Five years ago, a person known as monitormonkey underwent major surgeries that caused him to be clinically dead for several minutes. After regaining consciousness, he said:
"I woke up in a place that felt like space, but there were no stars or lights. I felt as if I were floating. I wasn't speaking; I was simply there. I wasn't warm or cold, hungry or tired. I felt completely neutral. It seemed as though there was light and true love around me, even though I had no desires and felt no needs. I reflected on my entire life, and it felt like reading a book while also being the reader. Whatever that experience was, it changed me. I am still afraid of death, but I am no longer worried about what comes afterward."
Schinida was thrown from his motorcycle while traveling at about 50 miles per hour. By the time he reached the hospital, he had died. While lying on the road waiting for the ambulance, he kept calling for someone he knew.
"I only remember being on a sidewalk, and everything was slowly becoming darker and darker. The only reason I didn't fall asleep was that I felt I had come to meet someone. It was a very strange feeling. Then someone placed a hand on my helmet and removed it. When the helmet came off, I saw my brother. That surprised me because my brother had passed away several years earlier. Unfortunately, I don't remember any more details."
While many people describe death as lasting only a few seconds, the experiences of those who were dead for several minutes can be quite different.
"I remember lying on my back beside water, and the water was slowly turning black. Suddenly everything became completely dark, and I found myself staring at a garden. I should mention that the garden wasn't full of flowers; it contained weeds and debris. There was also a playground where a girl and a boy were playing. It's difficult to describe, but I felt that I could either stay there or leave. Yet every time I tried to leave, I couldn't. Then I remembered all my reasons for returning and said that I wanted to go back because I didn't want to leave my mother alone. After that, my spirit returned to my body. I had been clinically dead for six minutes."
As one might expect, a child cannot fully understand the concept of death. A child receiving chemotherapy developed a nosebleed and an infection, died for several minutes, and fortunately recovered. He described the experience this way:
"The strangest part was how peaceful it felt. It was like hitting the snooze button on your alarm every morning at 7 a.m., then suddenly remembering that it's time for work or school and having to get up immediately. Those few minutes of death felt like a nap. Amid that overwhelming peace, I constantly felt that I needed to wake up, and I wanted to force myself awake."
Another person who died and was later revived described the experience:
"Last year I had a heart attack, and my heart stopped three times in the emergency room. Each time it happened, it almost felt like a joke. I didn't see any lights or tunnels. It simply felt like sleeping. I was actually dead, but I felt as though I was asleep."
A person who died for several minutes following an accident said after being revived:
"I didn't see anything at all. There was only complete darkness."
This may have been because the period of death was very brief, preventing the person from perceiving or remembering anything.
