According to SAEDNEWS, the economic newspaper Calcalist reported that Israel’s (terrorist aggression) against Iran has caused significant damage to Israel’s economy. One of the companies affected by this war is Isrotel, which operates a chain of hotels. The war caused it to lose at least 325 million shekels in the first quarter ending March 2026, pushing it into a loss-making situation.
The economic media wrote that the second round of Israel’s war against Iran caused the company to end the first quarter with a loss of around 35 million shekels, while in the same period last year it had recorded a net profit of about 2.5 million shekels. If exchange rate fluctuations in Israel are also taken into account, this loss would rise to around 47 million shekels.
