Saed News: United Nations spokesperson, rejecting Netanyahu’s claim of the occupation of Gaza, emphasized: the Gaza Strip fully belongs to the Palestinian people.
According to SAEDNEWS, “Stephane Dujarric”, spokesperson for the Secretary-General of the United Nations, in response to a question regarding the claim made by Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of the occupying Israeli regime, about his intention to expand Israeli occupation over about 70 percent of the Gaza Strip, emphasized that “100 percent of the Gaza Strip belongs to the Palestinian people.”
He added, in response to a question from the pan-regional newspaper Al-Quds Al-Arabi on this matter, that the United Nations continues to call on Israel to end its occupation and what it calls the “buffer zone.”
Dujarric, emphasizing that this position of the United Nations remains unchanged, stated that the so-called Yellow Line does not mean a legal division of Gaza, and added: “Gaza, all of Gaza, belongs to the Palestinians.”
Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime, had claimed that this regime has occupied nearly 60 percent of the Gaza Strip and asserted that it intends to reach a stage where it will occupy and control 70 percent of the besieged territory.
