Saed News: Parents’ belief in a strange superstition led to the marriage of their twin children.
According to SAEDNEWS, citing Sarpoosh, the marriage of two 5-year-old twins in Thailand has become a media topic. The marriage of these two siblings was based on a Buddhist superstition that the children were husband and wife in a previous life.
The unusual wedding ceremony of “Washirawit Beemusika” and his sister “Rinrada Pram” was held on March 4 at their home in the Nakhon Si Thammarat region.

The parents of the children, 31-year-old “Weerasak” and his 30-year-old wife “Rewadi,” who follow Buddhist teachings, held the ceremony believing that their twin children had been married in a past life. According to this superstition, if the marriage was not performed early, the children would face bad luck and misfortune.
Relatives and friends attended the ceremony, which was also conducted by several Buddhist monks who came to their home.
The father said he was happy but also worried that something from their past life might affect their new life, and claimed that the marriage would help them “cleanse the karma” of their previous life.
He added that they believe opposite-sex twins should marry each other, otherwise one of them may become ill later in life.
