According to reports from the Saed News social service, the marriage of Mohammad, a 35-year-old man, to an 80-year-old British woman has shocked social media users.
The British newspaper Daily Mail reported that Iris Jones, 80, and Mohammad Ahmad Ibrahim, 35, met each other on a social media platform. Two months later, Mohammad expressed his love for Iris, which led to further communication between them and eventually their meeting in Cairo.
