SAEDNEWS: IRGC Says It Has Launched 51st Wave of Operation True Promise 4, Hitting Key U.S. Military Air Base Used for U.S. Aircraft
SAEDNEWS: According to a statement by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the operation involved a coordinated launch of both solid- and liquid-fuel missiles targeting US forces stationed at Al-Kharj base.
The statement noted that the base functions as a key hub for hosting US F‑35 and F‑16 fighter jets, aerial refueling aircraft, and serves as a principal site for American AWACS surveillance planes.
The IRGC said the strike was aimed at the base as a source of attacks against Iran.
The 51st wave of Operation True Promise 4 was dedicated to Brigadier General martyr Abolqasem Babaeian and his martyred wife, the statement added.
