SAEDNEWS: The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has asserted that the assassination of top figures will not stop the strategic movement of the Iranian nation but will strengthen national cohesion.
“Historical experience has shown that the assassination of influential figures not only will not stop the strategic movement of the Iranian nation but also strengthens national cohesion, revolutionary determination, and the will of the Armed Forces to achieve the high goals of the Islamic Revolution,” the IRGC said in a statement on Sunday evening.
Offering condolences on the martyrdom of Chairman of the Chief of Staff of Iran’s Armed Forces Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi, the IRGC said General Mousavi’s bright path will continue with steadfastness, intelligence, and strategic initiative.
“The enemies of the Iranian nation should await the definitive consequences of their aggressive and criminal actions,” it added.
The United States and the Israeli regime launched unprovoked assaults on Iran on Saturday morning, assassinating top military commanders and Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
