According to the History Desk of Saed News, the clothing of upper-class and royal women during the Qajar era was distinguished by its unique design and luxurious embellishments. Their outfits typically included a thin, colorful chador (often made of lace or chiffon), a long dress with a high collar, and wide silk trousers.

Women of the upper class used expensive fabrics such as velvet, termeh, silk, and brocade. Their garments were often decorated with floral patterns, embroidery, and sequins. Head coverings consisted of silk scarves or brightly colored chārghads (traditional veils), sometimes adorned with gold and silver.

Heavy jewelry—such as long earrings, multiple bracelets, and wide necklaces—was also a prominent feature of courtly women’s appearance.
