SAEDNEWS: Archaeologists have made a remarkable discovery in a historic cemetery.
According to the Society Service of Saed News, citing Young Journalists Club, Egypt’s Ministry of Antiquities announced in a statement that archaeologists have discovered several clay vessels containing white cheeses.
The statement indicated that this discovery occurred during the first phase of the sixth season of excavations at the site. In addition, other clay vessels were uncovered during the excavation, the contents of which will be revealed in the coming days.
The Saqqara necropolis houses one of Egypt’s largest collections of historical artifacts. Since 2018, various archaeological missions have led to the discovery of a significant array of historical relics, including more than a hundred ancient coffins.
Last Friday, the “Pharaoh Khufu Center” was inaugurated on the Giza Plateau. The center is a specialized visitor service facility designed to enhance the experience of visitors, located on the western side of the plateau.
