SAEDNEWS: Hamid Rasaei, Tehran representative and First Deputy of the parliamentary Cultural Commission, announced that the film Pirpesar will be formally reviewed by the commission, accusing its creators of targeting fathers’ guardianship and broader family values.
Hamid Rasaei, Member of Parliament for Tehran and First Deputy of the Cultural Commission, wrote on the Virāsti platform that he attended a screening of the film Pirpesar at a cinema, noting that some audience members voiced objections during the showing. He explained that he was present because the Cultural Commission is slated to examine the film’s content.
According to the political news service SaedNews, Rasaei emphasized that Pirpesar will be brought before the Cultural Commission for official review.
“I watched Pirpesar in the cinema,” he wrote. “Several viewers there also raised protests. I explained that I came because the Cultural Commission will be reviewing the matter.”
Rasaei further posted an image from the film with the caption: “The description of what is written in this image is accurate. The film’s primary objective is to attack fathers’ guardianship and the concept of family. The film’s dossier has been submitted to the Commission for examination.”
He added that recently, some individuals have been releasing full spoilers—complete with ending details—for the purpose of discrediting the film. Rasaei’s reference to the image caption reflects those same spoiler publications, which have divulged the entire finale of Pirpesar.
