SAEDNEWS: Over 300 Palestinians have been killed in two days of relentless Israeli attacks, with airstrikes targeting displacement shelters, aid centers, and crowded civilian areas, as hopes for a ceasefire teeter on the edge.

Gaza Bleeds as Israeli Strikes Kill Over 300 in 48 Hours Amid Stalled Ceasefire Talks

According to Saed News, citing Al Jazeera, more than 300 Palestinians have lost their lives in the past 48 hours as Israeli forces intensified strikes across the Gaza Strip. The Gaza Government Media Office condemned the assaults as “26 bloody massacres,” alleging that Israel deliberately targeted densely populated civilian zones, including schools, shelters, markets, and aid distribution centers.

Medical sources confirmed to Al Jazeera that at least 30 people were killed on Thursday morning alone. Thirteen died when Israeli forces struck a tent encampment in al-Mawasi, a designated humanitarian zone in southern Gaza. Another 11 perished in an airstrike on the Mostafa Hafez school, which was sheltering displaced families west of Gaza City.

A statement from Gaza's Government Media Office described the attacks as deliberate and systematic, striking locations where tens of thousands of civilians had gathered in search of food, safety, or shelter. Among the targets were homes, public rest areas, and crowded markets. The dead include not only the displaced but also residents who remained in their homes and civilians queuing at humanitarian aid sites.

Adding to the chaos, a report from the Associated Press revealed that US contractors guarding aid points in Gaza have employed live ammunition and stun grenades against starving civilians. Two contractors, speaking on condition of anonymity, expressed alarm over the conduct of these security forces, claiming many were poorly vetted, heavily armed, and operating with minimal oversight.

The rising death toll and mounting international concern place further pressure on ongoing—but faltering—ceasefire negotiations, as humanitarian conditions in Gaza continue to deteriorate at an alarming rate.
