SAEDNEWS: As Tehran reels from unprecedented U.S. airstrikes, Iran’s Parliament Speaker vows a forceful retaliation that will leave Washington—and Trump—regretting their aggression.

“Ghalibaf: We’ll Make America Regret Attacking Iran – ‘Trump the Gambler’ Crossed the Line”

According to Saed News, Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf issued a stern warning to the United States in a fiery speech before lawmakers on Tuesday, promising a response that would make President Donald Trump “the gambler” regret ever targeting Iran.

Speaking at the start of the Iranian Parliament's latest session, Ghalibaf declared that the Islamic Republic had not only achieved critical battlefield victories but also scored a major strategic triumph in shaping global perception. He stated that Iran’s restrained yet resolute conduct during the ongoing conflict has revealed to the world that Iran poses no threat to regional security—unlike Israel, which he accused of being the true menace, backed by unchecked American support.

“Iran Is the Frontline Against Zionist Expansionism”

Ghalibaf argued that Iran’s military actions were not acts of aggression but part of a larger effort to preserve regional stability and protect the Islamic world. “We are not a danger to our neighbors or fellow Muslim nations. On the contrary, we have taken up arms against the number one enemy of Islam,” he said.

He emphasized that Israel’s goal of territorial expansion—from the Nile to the Euphrates—is not a distant threat but an imminent danger, and Iran’s resistance stands as the first line of defense for the Islamic world. “Muslim leaders, thinkers, and governments must now ask themselves: if not Iran, who will be next?”

“We Will Respond – Decisively”

Promising a response strong enough to change the strategic calculus in Washington, Ghalibaf said, “Iran will respond to the U.S. aggression in a way that makes Trump regret his reckless gamble. Our answer will not just be military—it will redefine deterrence in the region.”

His remarks echoed growing consensus within Iran’s political and military establishment: that the time for restraint may be over, and that a firm show of force is necessary to prevent further escalations.

As tensions between Tehran and Washington reach a boiling point, and Israel’s attacks on Iranian scientists and military leaders continue, Ghalibaf’s message was unequivocal: Iran sees itself not as an aggressor, but as a bulwark defending the region from chaos, occupation, and imperialist adventurism.
