SAEDNEWS: A survey conducted in the occupied territories reveals that 52 percent of Zionists oppose Benjamin Netanyahu’s candidacy in the upcoming elections.
According to the political news service of Saed News, a poll conducted by Israel’s Channel 12 shows that 52 percent of Israelis oppose Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu running in the next elections.
Channel 12 also reported that 70 percent of respondents believe this election will be decisive for the future of the regime. Meanwhile, one-fifth of those surveyed think the elections will not change the nature of the regime.
When asked about the timing of the election, a majority of 49 percent said it should be held as soon as possible, while 40 percent prefer to wait until the scheduled time, in November 2026.
Regarding the opposition, participants were asked who would be the most suitable candidate for prime minister. Naftali Bennett led with 44 percent, followed by Yair Lapid with 16 percent. Next were Yair Golan and Gadi Eizenkot with 11 percent each, Avigdor Lieberman with 10 percent, and Benny Gantz with 2 percent.
