SAEDNEWS: The head of the Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan (JIP) said that Iran’s role in defending Palestine is a source of pride in the Islamic world.
In a recent press conference in Karachi, Pakistan, the head of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan (JIP) Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman expressed pride in Iran's significant contributions to the Palestinian cause, describing them as a source of honor for the Islamic world.
His remarks followed a four-day visit to Tehran, where he met with high-ranking Iranian officials, including Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.
Rehman emphasized the importance of strengthening ties between Iran and Pakistan to protect the rights of Muslims. He commended the Iranian government’s steadfastness in defending the sovereignty of Islamic nations and countering the schemes of the Israeli regime. Iran stands firm against the conspiracy of normalization with Israel, and we expect the same spirit of resistance from the people and government of Pakistan, he stated.
He highlighted that Iran’s sacrifices and proactive role in supporting Palestine are commendable and should be emulated by other countries, particularly Pakistan.
Rehman called for closer coordination and collaboration between Iran and Pakistan in bilateral matters and the pursuit of the Palestinian issue, asserting that such cooperation could pave the way for aiding the people of Gaza and halting the Israeli regime’s atrocities.
Addressing the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), he emphasized that the time for mere statements and political maneuvering has passed, urging for concrete actions to establish a genuine front of resistance against common threats.
