SAEDNEWS: A member of Saeed Jalili’s campaign team denied a quote attributed to the martyred Soleimani, namely: 'If Jalili becomes president, he will not remain.'
According to the politics desk of Saed News Analytical Website, General Rahim Noei-Aghdam, a member of Saeed Jalili’s campaign team for the presidential elections, reacted to the quote attributed to the martyred Soleimani that "If Jalili becomes president, he will not remain."
He told Jamaran: "This is not true, it is false. Mr. Zolnour apologized for raising it."
He added: "Is it even possible that Haj Qasem would say if someone becomes president, I will not remain in the Quds Force, meaning I would abandon the command of my leader?! Is such a statement befitting of Qasem? Can it even be conceived?"
Noei-Aghdam said: "I know Qasem differently. It is not possible, it cannot be, this statement is not true. It is denied."
