Iran’s Unity Under Leadership Key to Overcoming Regional Challenges, Says Jalili

According to Saed News quoting IRNA, Saeed Jalili, speaking to a group of political and cultural activists in Zanjan province on Sunday, said that helping and strengthening the government means assisting it in correcting deficiencies or mistakes. Today, strengthening the government means achieving eight percent economic growth; he criticized claims that growth above 3.5 percent is impossible, stating that a strong government is one that can reach eight percent growth.

Referring to the words of Imam Khomeini about the superiority of the Iranian people over the early Muslims, Jalili attributed this to the nation’s awareness and vigilance at historical turning points, and the refusal to allow the enemy to impose false narratives. He added that in the arena of clarification, everyone must play their role to the best of their ability.

Jalili noted that today the world is at a historical turning point. Over the past century, particularly after World War I, enemies have exploited such moments to impose arrangements on the region, which the regional peoples still suffer from. He added that adversaries do not yield to the will of the people in these critical moments but attempt to establish new orders on the ruins of the old to preserve their interests.

The representative of the Supreme Leader in the Supreme National Security Council stressed that the Islamic Revolution’s victory and the unity of the Iranian nation under the leadership have initiated a new movement globally and disrupted the hegemonic order. He stated that the Israeli regime, born from this hegemonic system, previously invaded regional countries and was considered a model of success by the global powers, but today its prestige has declined.

Referring to the recent “12-Day War,” Jalili described it as a civilizational struggle between global arrogance and the Iranian nation. He said that the West deployed all its hard and soft power against Iran but realized its mistake after twelve days.

Jalili emphasized that Iran’s unity under the leadership has brought great strength. Additionally, God has granted the country abundant opportunities, including forests, seas, oil and gas resources, and educated, intelligent youth. It is the right and ability of the Iranian people to pursue progress with power.

Finally, Jalili referred to the Supreme Leader’s post-war message to advance faster than before toward lofty horizons, stressing that economic, political, foreign policy, and other sectors must heed these imperatives and that Iran bears responsibility for presenting accurate narratives on domestic, regional, and global matters.
