A Breakthrough in Medical Science: The World's First Bionic Eye Brings Color to the Visually Impaired

According to Saed News Science Service, doctors in Australia have developed the world’s first bionic eye capable of restoring vision to blind individuals. Known as the “Genaris Bionic Vision System,” this eye bypasses damaged optic nerves, sending visual signals directly to the brain’s visual center.

The innovative technology uses a small wearable camera and 11 tiny wireless implants placed on the brain’s surface to stimulate brain cells with electrical pulses. The system has shown promising results in animal trials, and human testing is now set to begin.
