Iranian Foreign Ministry Refutes Claims of Defense Data Transfer to Israel

SAEDNEWS: Iran’s Foreign Ministry emphasizes that views expressed by retired diplomat Mohammad Sadr are personal and do not reflect official policy, denying claims about defense data transfers to Israel and reiterating reliance on official reports for incidents such as the presidential helicopter crash.

Esmaeil Baghai, spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in response to a question regarding claims made by Mr. Mohammad Sadr on certain foreign policy issues, stated: Mr. Sadr is a veteran diplomat and one of our retired colleagues, and his views and analyses—as he himself has emphasized—are his personal opinions and naturally do not necessarily reflect the official positions of the country.

According to Saed News, the Foreign Ministry spokesperson, responding to a question about the claim that Iran’s defense information was transferred to the Israeli regime by Russia, stressed: such a claim, which the speaker himself described as his personal analysis and not based on documented information, is not true.

Baghai, responding to another question regarding the helicopter crash carrying the late President and his companions, referring to the conclusions of official national authorities based on extensive technical investigations, said: our basis concerning the causes and factors of the helicopter crash is the official report of competent national authorities, and other claims and speculations are not verifiable.

Baghai, in response to a further question regarding the connection of the mentioned interview with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, clarified: the program and the interview have no connection to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the program host conducted the interview in his personal capacity.
