SAEDNEWS: Iran’s Armed Forces praised national unity during the 12-Day War and pledged to strengthen defense capabilities against future threats, warning that internal division only serves U.S. and Israeli interests.
According to Saed News, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran issued a statement expressing gratitude for the guidance and support of the Supreme Leader and Commander-in-Chief, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, during the Sacred Defense and the 12-Day War.
The statement stressed that by following his directives and strategies, Iran’s Armed Forces will continue to enhance their power and defensive capabilities, dedicating all efforts to safeguard the nation’s interests, territorial integrity, and the foundation of the Islamic Republic.
It further highlighted that throughout the blessed life of the Islamic Revolution, Iran’s strength in construction, development, and scientific progress has been rooted in the unity and deep bonds between the people and the country’s officials.
The statement added that during the turbulent years of the revolution, the insight and solidarity of the people alongside the Armed Forces frustrated enemies’ plots and turned their schemes into failure. It accused global powers of distorting realities to undermine Iran’s unity, but emphasized that the vigilant nation continues to foil such attempts by following the wise leadership of the Supreme Leader.
The General Staff also said that U.S. leaders and the Israeli prime minister, “after their military defeat in the 12-Day War,” are now seeking to create internal discord and polarization in Iran as a means of compensating for their failure. However, it insisted that the Iranian nation has consistently demonstrated resilience and awareness at critical junctures.
The Armed Forces expressed appreciation for the unparalleled support of the Iranian people, the government, and the three branches of power during the 12-Day War. They assured the public that by strengthening national unity and coordination with the leadership, they will respond to any foreign adventure or threat more decisively than ever before, ensuring that enemies “regret their miscalculations forever.”
