SAEDNEWS: Ali Larijani criticized global powers for imposing deadlines on nations, calling it humiliating, and stressed that countries should have the authority to manage their own affairs without foreign dictation.
According to Saed News, citing Entekhab, Ali Larijani said: “We do not accept the method by which major countries set deadlines for nations. This is not a language of dialogue with a civilized nation.”
He added: “Trump once set a timeline for us as well. Nobody pays attention to timelines; from thousands of kilometers away, they tell you that you must do this at a certain time. Who are you to set a schedule? They say if you do this, we will give you a little chocolate—this is humiliation.”
The Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council emphasized: “We say let nations have their own authority; we have a duty to stand by our brothers and help them, but we do not give orders.”
