SAEDNEWS: Ali Larijani highlighted that national cohesion directly influences Iran’s negotiating power and stressed the importance of predictable public life and strategic preparedness, while warning of a cunning adversary despite no immediate war threat.

Larijani Warns of Caution Despite Absence of Direct War Threats

According to Saed News, citing Entekhab, the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council stated that many issues, including political, social, and cultural matters, significantly impact national security within an interconnected framework. For instance, in negotiations, this cohesion and interconnection are very tangible, because when there is national unity internally, the level of nuclear negotiations differs from when there is no such unity.

Ali Larijani added: “A successful perspective on national security means that people can have a predictable life. In sensitive matters such as economic issues, setting the framework is done by the Secretariat of the Supreme National Security Council, and the government implements it.”

He further said: “In some cases, negotiations are necessary, but more importantly, you should have a strong hand—that is, we must provide economic, political, and social capacities. In negotiations, we can speak according to our power.”

Larijani emphasized: “There is currently no war as such, but caution is needed because we are dealing with a deceitful enemy who may violate the ceasefire at any moment.”
