Fahriye Evcen was born on June 4, 1986, in Solingen, Germany. She is fluent in Turkish, German, Spanish, and English.
Her maternal family is of Circassian origin, and her paternal family are Turkish immigrants originally from the city of Kavala. She has three older sisters named Nisi, Aysan, and Demet. At the age of 7, their house was burned down by German Nazis.


She initially studied Sociology at Düsseldorf Heinrich University in Germany but was expelled and returned to Turkey with her mother. She continued her studies at Boğaziçi University in Turkey and graduated.
Fahriye entered the acting world in 2005, with her first professional project beginning in 2008.
Fahriye Evcen married Burak Özçivit on June 29, 2017, in Istanbul. Their first child, a son named Karan, was born on April 13, 2019.


In 2005, at the age of 19, she appeared for the first time in front of the camera in the TV series “Never Forget”. After her second television experience in 2006, she made her cinema debut with the film “Sky” in 2007.
Her fame grew from 2006 with the TV series “Falling Leaves” on Channel D, which ran for five seasons until 2010.
Regarding her sports interests, she said:
“I have tried every sport, and currently, I usually practice Pilates. For the past two to three years, I have also been doing kickboxing, which has been a great discovery for me. I also enjoy eating, but I follow a special diet plan, and when I stick to it, I do not experience weight problems.”
