The first phase of this project, with a capacity of 120 megawatts, will be commissioned with the help of Almighty God and the dedicated efforts of the engineers and hardworking staff of Mobarakeh Steel.
He added:
The consultant for this project was Daneshmand Engineering Company, and the contractor was Mosharekat Mabna Company. Additionally, about 40% of the equipment for this power plant has been localized by the country’s domestic specialists, which clearly demonstrates the technical and engineering capabilities of these experts.
The Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade continued:
The final phase of this project will cover an area of 1,200 hectares, and the investment made for the 120-megawatt phase exceeds 60 million euros. This project will be commissioned in the year named by the Supreme Leader as the Year of Investment and Production.
Atabak emphasized:
This project will increase employment at Mobarakeh Steel and improve access to energy. Beyond electricity production, it will play a significant role in reducing dependence on fossil fuels, lowering greenhouse gas emissions, and strengthening the country’s energy security, thereby creating a sustainable future for the coming generations.
