SAEDNEWS: The spokesperson of the Pakistani Armed Forces said that the Islamic Republic of Iran is a friendly and brotherly country.
The Spokesperson for the Pakistani Armed Forces, Lt. General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, says the Islamic Republic is “our friend and brother,” and that Pakistan’s support for Tehran during the recent Israeli-U.S. aggression was based on principled policy, aligned with the U.N. Charter and international law.
The Pakistani military official made the remarks during an interview with the Al Jazeera TV network.
He emphasized that Pakistan’s backing of Iran throughout the 12-day war was based on consistent principles and in accordance with the U.N. Charter and international law, including the laws of war.
“The Islamic Republic of Iran is our Muslim friend, brother, and neighbor, with whom we share cultural and religious affinities,” he said.
