SAEDNEWS: The Islamic Resistance Movement called on the international community to force the Israeli regime to stop its policy of starving the people of the Gaza Strip.
According to Saednews, Hamas has urged world nations, particularly the international community, to assist in halting the Israeli regime’s policy of imposing hunger on Gaza residents, which has led to the deaths of children in the besieged strip, according to Palestine’s Shehab news agency.
The movement issued a statement on Saturday, saying that as a result of the full siege of the Gaza Strip and the organized policy of imposing hunger by the Israeli regime, more than 66 children have lost their lives due to malnutrition and hunger.
Hamas also said that these brutal crimes, including the targeting of innocent children and defenseless civilians through famine, bombardment, and widespread massacres, are violations of all values and humanitarian norms.
According to the statement, the fascist and criminal cabinet of the Israeli regime, supported politically and given immunity, especially by the U.S. administration, continues to commit such atrocities.
Hamas called on the international community, as well as Arab and Islamic countries, to utilize all available resources and efforts to halt the humanitarian catastrophe and the devastating war, which has been exacerbated by the cabinet of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
The Palestinian movement also urged people worldwide to work toward ending the genocidal war, breaking the siege, and helping deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza.
The Palestinian Freedom Movement also issued a statement, saying that the escalation of crimes committed by the Israeli regime in Gaza is a continuation of genocide and ethnic cleansing against the Palestinian nation, which has been supported by the U.S. administration for 20 months.
The movement urged the international community and all international organizations to fulfill their commitments, condemn the fascist regime, and pave the way for halting the genocide and the imposition of hunger against the Palestinian people. According to the statement, they are also expected to prosecute the regime’s criminal officials and hand them over to international justice mechanisms.
