Erdogan: We Are Confident That Victory Will Belong To Iran

According to Saeed News, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, speaking at the Organization of Islamic Cooperation summit held today (Saturday), referred to the Israeli regime's attack on Iran and said:

"Since June 13, our neighbor Iran has constantly been subjected to state terrorism by the Israeli regime. We strongly condemn this attack in the strongest possible terms."

He added:
"On behalf of myself and my country, I extend my condolences over the loss of Iranian lives in these attacks. We have no doubt that the Iranian people, with their unity and strong governmental experience, will overcome these difficult days. We are confident that victory will belong to Iran."

The President of Turkey further stated:
"Israel’s attacks on Gaza, Lebanon, Yemen, Syria, and now Iran amount to sheer banditry. The Netanyahu gang is not seeking diplomacy—it is trying to spread war throughout the region. It is also notable that these attacks came at a time when negotiations over Iran’s nuclear program were intensifying."

Erdoğan continued:
"We are witnessing a conspiracy timed with the 100th anniversary of the Sykes-Picot Agreement. But we will never allow this conspiracy to proceed or be realized. Israel will never achieve its goals."

He emphasized:
"Iran, within the framework of its legitimate right to self-defense, has taken necessary measures to protect its people. The Netanyahu government does not take any peace calls seriously. It continues to enrich its nuclear capacity while showing no adherence to international norms."

The Turkish president added:
"The June 13 attacks made it clear that this regime has chosen violence instead of peaceful solutions and recognizing a Palestinian state. Israel's oppression spreads chaos and instability throughout the Middle East and even Europe, pushing the world toward a broader crisis."

Erdoğan also noted:
"What is of utmost importance now is advancing the two-state solution. We must encourage more countries to recognize the State of Palestine. We must continue our efforts to adopt deterrent measures against Israel based on international law and the UN Charter."

He concluded:
"There may be differences among us, but as the Islamic world, we share a common destiny. Muslims of every ethnicity and sect—whether Turk, Kurd, Arab, Persian, Sunni, Shia, Alawite, African, Asian, or Latin American—share the same qibla and destiny. We all say 'La ilaha illallah, Muhammadur Rasulullah.' Istanbul and Tehran share a common fate. For a Muslim world with 2 billion people, becoming a unified power is essential."

"The Islamic world is on the verge of a new era in which it will play a much greater role. First, we must resolve our internal conflicts. If we do not take responsibility for our own issues with a shared mindset and will, we will only serve the interests of others."
