Saed News: Government spokesperson Fatemeh Mohajerani, expressing gratitude for the decisive response of Iran’s armed forces to the Zionist regime’s aggression, stated that the supply of essential goods and medicine is continuing without any problems.
According to Saed News, quoting Fars News Agency, Fatemeh Mohajerani, spokesperson for the Iranian government, in a televised interview today, expressed gratitude for the decisive response of Iran’s armed forces to the Zionist regime’s aggression. She stated:
"First, I sincerely thank our armed forces, police, and security forces who are selflessly defending our beloved Iran. I also extend special gratitude to the Supreme Leader, whose wise guidance has strengthened our national pride and who stands firmly and wisely against foreign threats and internal mischief."
She added:
"Today in Iran, we are witnessing a scene of solidarity, compassion, concern, and calmness—a clear symbol of national dignity. The images of people, not just family members, visiting the elderly in recent days demonstrate a form of collective goodness and empathy that will be remembered in history, just like the heroism of the Sacred Defense era. Every Iranian is a member of this great national family, and we must stand together to get through this and reach the regional peace and stability we have always hoped for."
Mohajerani said:
"In today’s cabinet meeting attended by the President, Vice President, and ministers, various working groups presented their reports. The President emphasized that ministerial powers should be delegated to provincial governors as much as possible, to move toward a neighborhood-based decision-making model. I especially appreciate the Mazandaran governor’s efforts in making bakeries operate 24/7. Each province has unique characteristics, and decisions should match local needs."
She continued:
"One of today's major successes is local management, which has emerged through the active presence of mosques, proving that this land—from Tehran to its most distant corners—is ready to defend itself. The aggression against our country is not limited to Tehran; all Iranians stand with honor and courage."
Regarding students, she stated:
"To address concerns of families with university entrance exam candidates, the Ministry of Science has announced that the exact date of the exam will be declared on July 6, after the days of Tasua and Ashura. Universities are also permitted to provide housing for faculty, staff, and students displaced by recent attacks. Final exams will be held based on the discretion given to university presidents, and thesis defenses will take place online."
Regarding recent cyber disruptions:
"Maintaining banking network stability is a priority. Central Bank experts are working to counter cyberattacks targeting several national banks. We assure the public that every effort is being made to ensure security and stability. Two major banks—Bank Sepah and Bank Pasargad—were hit, causing temporary disruptions, but no data loss or breaches have occurred. Central Bank specialists are working intensively, and we expect systems to return to normal soon."
She added:
"Since over 90% of financial transactions happen electronically, disruptions in major systems have overloaded others, increasing demand for cash in some areas. Due to increased road traffic, cash distribution has faced challenges, which are being addressed."
The government spokesperson confirmed:
"In coordination with the head of the Plan and Budget Organization and the Central Bank Governor, pensions for military and civilian retirees have begun to be paid. Social Security pensioners will also receive their payments within the next 72 hours."
On internet concerns:
"The 14th government is committed to the free flow of information and will not restrict internet access except in emergencies. Due to recent cyberattacks on infrastructure, temporary reductions in internet speed have been necessary to protect national security. However, there is no plan to shift to a national intranet unless a security emergency arises."
She stressed:
"Despite the current situation, there is no issue in the supply of bread, oil, infant formula, or other essential goods. Although population displacement has altered consumption patterns in some regions, the production and distribution chains remain fully active. We especially appreciate frontline workers, particularly bakers in provinces operating 24/7."
She added:
"Currency for importing medicine and medical equipment has been secured, and there is no shortage in this sector. The head of the Food and Drug Administration has also confirmed that infant formula supply remains uninterrupted."
Mohajerani also announced:
"To ease public travel, tolls on certain highways that required non-electronic payment have been temporarily suspended."
With a heavy tone, she reported:
"Among the recent innocent martyrs are 48 women and children, including Fatemeh Rasouli, a pregnant mother martyred with her seven-month-old fetus; Saber Akbari, a Kermanshah handball player; and Sara Jodat, a photography student—civilians with no ties to weapons or violence, yet victims of hatred and brutality."
In closing, she said:
"More than anything, we need unity and solidarity in these days."
