American Senator’s Warning: U.S. Entry Into War With Iran Would Be A Catastrophic Mistake

Saed News reports, quoting ISNA: While the Zionist regime launched its aggressive attack against Iran on June 13 and is trying to involve the United States in the region, American politicians are warning against Washington’s warmongering moves alongside the Zionists.

U.S. Senator Tim Kaine, who has previously opposed the policies of President Donald Trump, said: "I am concerned about escalating violence in the Middle East and its potential to drag us into an endless war. I introduced a resolution to ensure that before we decide to put military personnel at risk, there is debate and a vote in Congress."

Kaine added: "I believe that U.S. involvement in a war against Iran, the third war in the Middle East since 2001, would be a catastrophic mistake for this country."

The Democratic senator said: "I have attended funerals of soldiers killed in Iraq and Afghanistan and will do everything in my power to prevent us from entering an unnecessary war."

Senator Tim Kaine reiterated: "U.S. entry into war with Iran is a catastrophic mistake."

As the escalating conflict between the Zionist regime and Iran raises concerns about the spread of war, this Democratic senator introduced legislation on Monday to prevent President Donald Trump from using military force against Iran without congressional authorization.

The Virginia senator has long worked to take back the power to declare war from the White House and return it to Congress.
