SAEDNEWS: The startup Takway introduced Soicar, a Tamagotchi-like AI companion that remembers your voice and interactions, develops a unique personality, and eventually cares for itself independently.
According to Saed News Technology, startup Takway, aiming to be the “Nintendo of the AI robot era,” unveiled a virtual pet at CES 2026. Sweekar is a hand-sized AI companion shaped like a cute egg with ears and a screen for a face. Like a Tamagotchi, it needs feeding and play to stay happy, remembers your voice and shared activities, and eventually entertains itself and tells stories of its adventures.
Available in pink, yellow, and blue, Sweekar can wear customizable outfits and grows through four life stages. Once fully grown, it can care for itself, making it virtually “immortal” beyond level 51. Pricing hasn’t been finalized but is expected between $100–$150.
