SAEDNEWS: The historical memory of the Zagros still remembers the bombing of women and children in Boyer-Ahmad and the cries of September 27 in Borujerd. A harrowing account of the Pahlavi dynasty’s bloody legacy in Lorestan—where “general amnesty” was signed with the Quran but ended at the gallows.
Political group Saed News: History is a memory that cannot be erased by empty promises or video messages. Today, while the surviving Pehlavi family speaks of concern for the Iranian people and the proud Lur community, the record shows only betrayal, oppression, and bloodshed in their relations with the Zagros tribes.
Betrayal of an Oath: When the Quran Became a Tool of Deception
In September 1925, Borujerd witnessed a tragedy that forever stains Reza Shah’s reign. Thirteen Lur chieftains, trusting a “signed Quran” and promises of amnesty, walked willingly to their deaths. Hossein-Agha Khazaei, Reza Shah’s envoy, exploited their faith, sending them to the gallows—the first lesson of Pehlavi “concern” for the Lurs: trust is answered with the noose.
Amir Ahmadi: “The Butcher of Lorestan” and Reza Shah’s Favorite
Sepahbod Amir Ahmadi’s name is etched in Lorestan’s history with terror. His ruthless massacres of tribes earned him the title “Butcher of Lorestan.” Far from a rogue officer, he was a key instrument of Reza Shah’s forced modernization, burning homes, executing elders, and destroying tribal livelihoods and identity.
Gajestan Atrocities: Bombing Lur Women and Children
The crimes continued under Mohammad Reza Shah. In 1963, during the Gajestan conflict, tribes resisting land reforms were bombed from the air. Women, children, and tents—armed only with honesty—were targeted, repeating the “iron fist” logic of his father.
Today: Concern or Exploitation?
Now Reza Pahlavi, grandson of those who ordered mass executions in Borujerd and bombed Boyer-Ahmad tribes, claims to support the people. But can someone who has never condemned his ancestors’ crimes truly claim to champion justice? Zagros memory remembers the mothers’ cries and the blood of the executed. The Pehlavis have shown they care not for the Lurs, but for control—and Reza Pahlavi continues that legacy.
Should the child of “false Qurans” and “cluster bombs” be trusted?
