SAEDNEWS:Speaker of the Iranian Parliament Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf described the US president’s hostile comments as an indication of his fury and frustration, noting that there is no place for terrorists and traitors in Iran.
According to SAEDNEWS, Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, launched a sharp rebuttal against recent hostile comments made by US President Donald Trump regarding the living conditions in Iran. Qalibaf framed the US President's remarks not as objective criticism, but as a desperate reaction fueled by anger and frustration over the failure of a perceived foreign-backed operation within Iran.
Defeating Foreign-Instigated Sedition:
Speaking during a parliamentary session, Qalibaf asserted that Iran successfully thwarted what he termed an "American-Zionist sedition." He accused external actors of exploiting peaceful protests to deliberately instigate violent riots across the country. The Speaker emphasized that the combined "courageous and prudent leadership" of Iran, alongside the public's insight, demonstrated that Iran remains hostile territory for terrorists and traitors, a reality that he claims has infuriated the US President.
Echoing the Supreme Leader's Stance:
Qalibaf strongly supported the position laid out by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, two days prior. Khamenei had clearly distinguished between genuine protestors and the destructive rioters. The Leader had characterized the recent chaos as fundamentally "American" in origin, stating that the US President was openly encouraging the violent elements while the US and the Zionist regime provided covert assistance. Ayatollah Khamenei deemed the US President a "criminal" for both the resulting casualties and for committing a "great slander" by equating the rioters with the entire Iranian nation.
