IRGC Spokesman: “Don’t Worry, If War Comes, Our Response Will Make the Enemy Regret It!”

According to Saed News; In a powerful address at the Third National Congress of University Professors, Brigadier General Ali Mohammad Nayini, spokesperson for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), emphasized that the 12-day war revealed the collapse of the Israeli regime’s deterrence framework. Nayini stated that Israel, operating under the illusion that Iran was weak, expected the Iranian people to surrender their country within hours of the attack. Instead, Iranians immediately took to the streets, delivering a decisive blow to the invading forces.

Lessons From the War

“The war demonstrated that Iranian citizens possess a clear understanding of threats and will never compromise national identity, unity, or interests,” Nayini explained. He highlighted that the United States and Israel spent billions attempting to defeat the Islamic Revolution and the Iranian nation, yet achieved no victory. The conflict showcased Iran’s popular power, the supreme command’s strength, and the resilience of the armed forces, he added.

Public Assurance

Nayini assured the public that Iran is now stronger, more cohesive, and stable than ever. “Citizens should rest assured about the country’s security—our enemies will achieve nothing,” he said. He also emphasized that a significant part of the conflict is psychological and perceptual warfare, which continues as adversaries try to maintain a shadow of war over Iran through economic and media pressures.

Deterrence and Preparedness

The IRGC spokesperson stressed, “We are neither instigators of war nor afraid of it. Should a conflict arise, our superior capabilities and decisive response will make the enemy regret it. Our country is fully secure, and no threat can disturb domestic peace.” He highlighted that the armed forces remain vigilant and continuously enhance deterrence, ensuring preparedness against any threat.

Moving Forward: Post-War Priorities

Looking to the future, Nayini stressed the importance of national unity, rebuilding infrastructure, addressing citizens’ livelihoods, and boosting economic activity. He urged all citizens to support the government in turning the post-war period into a time of economic prosperity and national growth.
