SAEDNEWS: The UN Security Council is set to hold an emergency closed-door meeting to discuss the European request to reimpose international sanctions on Iran, according to diplomatic sources.
Members of the United Nations Security Council are set to examine the request by three European countries to reinstate international sanctions against Iran.
According to Saed News, quoting Agence France-Presse, diplomatic sources reported that the Security Council will convene an emergency closed-door meeting on Iran today.
Western diplomats, whose names were not disclosed, claimed that the Security Council members will discuss the European request to reactivate sanctions against Iran.
