SAEDNEWS: The Iranian foreign minister Abbas Araghchi has said that the Yemeni armed forces do not need any country's help to defend themselves as they have homegrown military capabilities.
According to SAEDNEWS, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has stated that Yemen's armed forces have the ability to defend themselves without assistance from other countries. He emphasized that Yemen possesses its own military technology and does not require outside help.
In a recent interview with Yemeni television station Al Masirah, Araghchi criticized claims that Iran supplies weapons to Yemen, calling such accusations an insult to the Yemeni people. He highlighted Yemen's role in what he referred to as the "Axis of Resistance," noting its support for Gaza.
Araghchi asserted that Yemen is a sovereign nation that makes its own decisions regarding military actions. Recently, reports indicated that Yemeni armed forces launched a hypersonic missile targeting Tel Aviv, prompting many residents to seek safety in shelters amid the panic.
This statement from the Iranian official underscores Yemen's determination to bolster its military capabilities and operate independently on the global stage.
